St Paul's Cathedral

As the cathedral of the capital, St Paul's is the spiritual focus for a nation and throughout its history has remained a busy, working church where millions have come to worship. The current Cathedral - the fourth to occupy this site - was designed by the court architect Sir Christopher Wren and built between 1675 and 1710 after its predecessor was destroyed in the Great Fire of London.

St Paul's is open to visitors and has a regular programme of worship and events - visit the website to find out more. Tickets can be purchased online or in person. Special services or events may close all, or part, of the Cathedral at short notice, so please check the website for scheduled events before setting off.
