“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.”
Martin Luther King
The Education and Early Years Team is united in our belief that education is the pathway for all children to reach their potential and achieve their dreams and ambitions in life. As educators, we believe that all children have the right to their education, their identity and the right to be proud of their heritage, culture and who they are. Education affords the opportunity to listen, reflect and learn from each other.
At this time, we want to reassure all children from black and minority ethnic backgrounds that they will always be treated with dignity and respect. We will not be silent witnesses to any form of discrimination and harassment within our community.
