  • collaboration and partnership work with Schools and Education Settings to support the Health & Wellbeing of children and young people in the City
  • safeguarding the City’s children and young people, particularly the most vulnerable in Schools, Education and Early Years Services

The Lead Advisor and School Admissions and Attendance Manager can help you with:

  • school admissions

  • performance Licences and Body of Persons Approvals (BOPA)
  • children being electively home educated (EHE)
  • home tuition for children with medical needs
  • education welfare service (schools located within the City of London)
  • school Improvement
  • free School Meals
  • school clothing grants

  • you would like to set up a new nursery/pre-school or would like to become a registered childminder or nanny in the Square Mile

  • you are an Early Years provider and you:

Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) Team

For free confidential and impartial information, advice and support about any matters relating to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities of children and young people up to the age of 25 years.

Contact me if you:

  • would like information about The City of London SEND Strategy for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
  • would like to be involved in designing services for children and young people with SEND
  • have questions about how services for children and young people with SEND are being delivered

Contact me if you have any questions about:

  • the EHC needs assessment process and making a referral
  • information, advice and guidance around receiving additional support and services for children and young people with SEND
  • EHC plans and receiving the appropriate support for your child
  • requests for SEND home to school transport

Contact the SENCO of your child’s educational setting first with any concerns, who will then contact me if they need further help with:

  • your child’s learning
  • your child’s well being
  • your child’s social interactions

I am also able to offer educational settings training in understanding and supporting SEN and specific areas of need, autism, mental health and the development and learning of children and young people from 0 – 25.
