Children’s Integrated Speech and Language Therapy Service for Hackney and The City

The Children’s Integrated Speech and Language Therapy Service for Hackney and The City provides support for children and young people who live in the City or Hackney and attend City or Hackney Schools. It provides integrated support in speech and language development for children aged 0-18 years.

Our approaches include:

• Providing assessment, advice and strategies to nurseries and schools
• Supporting parents to develop their child's communication skills
• Training for school staff
• Working with children individually and in groups

If your child is under 5 years old and is not yet in full-time school, you can come to one of our Communication Assessment Together with Carers in Hackney (CATCH) sessions. A therapist will hear your concerns and provide you with advice on how to help your child. To attend one of the sessions, please complete our referral form or contact our admin team on 0207 683 4262, or email hello@gethackneytalking.co.uk so that we can give you a time slot.
