Description

City and Hackney Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) provide a free specialist services for children and young people with mental health problems. 

We help with all sorts of issues, from common worries to more severe or long-term difficulties. We also support children, young people and their families with disabilities and additional needs like autism.

As partnership of specialist NHS services and voluntary organisations, we can make sure you and your family get the support you need.

We assess and treat children and young people who:

  • Have symptoms of a serious mental health disorder or difficulty
  • Are unable to live a normal life and /or be with other people because of the way they are thinking and feeling about themselves or other people
  • Are experiencing serious risks to their emotional and psychological wellbeing and development because of the way they are thinking and feeling about themselves or other people

The services provided by the Alliance are commissioned and funded by:

  • The Homerton Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
  • The London Borough of Hackney
  • East London NHS Foundation Trust
  • City of London Corporation
