Children's Occupational Therapy

The Children's Occupational Therapy (OT) service provides assessment, advice and treatment for children and young people (aged 0-18, 25 with SEN) who have problems with everyday tasks due to physical disability, developmental delay, autism, sensory processing disorders or co-ordination difficulties.

Our aim is to develop their ability to accomplish common tasks such as washing, dressing, play, community access and meal preparation thus increasing their independence.

We can also make recommendations for equipment and adaptations to home and school environments.

The services at the Hackney Ark can only be accessed by children and young people who are registered with the Neaman Practice.
