A new collection of images celebrating Bengali life in east London
The Bengali Photography Archive brings together photographs taken of and by east London's Bengali community, past and present. This eighteen-month project is working with local residents, volunteers and photographers to collect photos and interviews for this exciting new collection.
With partner Swadhinata Trust, we are looking for images with a story to tell. Photographs and interviews will be lodged at the Tower Hamlets Local History Library and Archive, and will also be accessible online.
